Annual Blood Donation Camp 2026 Successfully Held at Kattankudy Muslim Elders Home
The Annual Blood Donation Camp organised by Kattankudy Muslim Elders Home was successfully held on Sunday, 4 October 2026, in honour of International Elders’ Day 2026. The event received an encouraging response from the community, with a total of 51 individuals voluntarily donating blood to support this worthy cause.
A notable highlight of this year’s programme was the participation of Government Agent Mr J. S. Arul Raj, who once again attended the event and personally donated blood. His continued involvement and support added special significance to the occasion and reflected the importance of community participation in such humanitarian initiatives.
The occasion was also graced by Alhaj M. C. M. Sheriff, SLAS, former Divisional Secretary of Kattankudy. His presence and support were greatly appreciated and added further significance to the event.
The annual blood donation camp remains an important initiative of Kattankudy Muslim Elders Home, bringing together individuals from the wider community to contribute towards saving lives while promoting the happiness and wellbeing of the elders residing at the Home.
The success of this year’s programme reflects the generosity, compassion and collective commitment of everyone involved. Such initiatives continue to strengthen the relationship between the Home and the wider community while encouraging a spirit of social responsibility and care for others.
Kattankudy Muslim Elders Home extends its sincere appreciation to all 51 blood donors, volunteers and everyone who supported and contributed towards the success of this year’s blood donation camp.
Alhamdulillah, the Home is grateful for the continued support and generosity of the community in making this annual initiative a success.
