Hathmul Quran, Tree Plantation, and New Name Board Unveiling at Kattankudy Elders Home on Elders Day 2025
A peaceful Hathmul Quran took place at the Kattankudy Elders Home on Friday, 03 October 2025, in connection with Elders Day. The program began after Fajr Salaah, during which the full 30 Juzz of the Holy Quran were completed with sincere devotion and unity. The recitation was dedicated to all Marhooms, the elders who had passed away from the home, seeking Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for their souls.
The morning was filled with calmness and spiritual warmth as everyone joined together in prayer. It was a touching moment that reflected love, respect, and remembrance for the elders who had once been part of the home. Their memory was honored through collective dua and the beautiful recitation of the Quran.
Alongside the Hathmul Quran, a tree plantation event was organized, and a new name board for the elders home was officially unveiled. This meaningful addition symbolized growth, life, and the community’s ongoing commitment to caring for the elderly.
The gathering reminded everyone of the importance of supporting elders and keeping them close in our thoughts and prayers. The Kattankudy Elders Home continues its mission of compassion, providing comfort and care for its residents while honoring those who have departed with gratitude and faith.
