Support the Elders This Ramadan 2026 with Your Zakat and Sadaqah

The Muslim Elders Home was established more than 34 years ago to provide shelter and care for elderly Muslims who have been forsaken or have no one to support them. Since its inception, the home has continuously served the community with dedication and compassion, ensuring the welfare and dignity of its residents.

At present, the home cares for 33 elders. All their essential needs including food, clothing, medical care, and Janaza interment are provided free of charge. The home has always operated in a committed and responsible manner to ensure that the elders live in comfort, respect, and security.

However, due to the current economic challenges in the country, the usual financial assistance received through Zakat, Sadaqah, and other donations has significantly decreased. At the same time, the cost of living has risen sharply. The monthly expenses of the home amount to approximately Rs. 600,000, and it has become increasingly difficult to meet these costs and continue operations smoothly.

In order to run the home without interruption and continue serving our elders with dignity, we sincerely seek your support. We kindly request you to contribute your Zakat, Sadaqah, and other charitable donations during this holy month of Ramadan. Your generosity will directly support the daily lives of our elderly fathers and ensure that they are cared for properly.
